Photo courtesy of Alex Smith Photography "Tia", more fondly known as Mary's little Monkey dog (a knickname derived from her uncanny fence climbing ability), is well on her way to championship titles in both the U.S. and Canada. She presently has 11 points with one major in the U.S. and 7 points in Canada. She is not fond of showing though, so Mary Alderman has decided to retire her from the ring. During her show career though, she had a couple of nice wins, with her first point on August 20, 2000, when she took Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/Best of Opposite Sex/Best Puppy/Puppy Hound Group 1 under Whippet breeder/judge Mr. Stan Halley. She also placed 3rd out of 16 puppies at the American Whippet Club Midwest Specialty, and 3rd out of 15 puppies at the American Whippet Club Southern Specialty shows. Tia has been bred a couple of times and is mother to Jaama's Intrepid "Rapid", Jaama's Jamboree "Nadia", and Jaama's Jubilee "Billee". She will be bred one final time in the Summer of 2007 to an as yet to be determined dog. Tia is a half-sister to MBIS CH. Karasar's Reminiscent and my sincerest thanks to out to Kerrie Kuper for letting me have this wonderful bitch. Tia is bred by and co-owned with Kerrie Kuper, Karasar Kennels. ![]()
